Notes In 1887, Mary Connor, 11, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 96 children from Catholic Children Protection Society, Liverpool, England, accompanied by Mrs. Margaret Lacy, and en route to Hotel Dieu, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

Mary Connor, aged 11. From Wolverhampton Union. Placed with Michael Toal, Perth Town, Drummond Township, Lanark County. Generally giving satisfaction, in good home, with which she is much pleased, has running sore on cheek, will attend school in winter."
