Notes In 1887, James Burns, 10, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 96 children from Catholic Children Protection Society, Liverpool, England, accompanied by Mrs. Margaret Lacy, and en route to Hotel Dieu, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

James Burns, aged 11 From West Derby Union. Placed with John Rosenblath, St. Clements Village, Wellesley Tp., Waterloo Co.? Good boy every way well cared for, in good home, healthy lad, attends school, in 3rd reader."
