In 1887, Patrick Cassidy, 13, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 129 children from Catholic Children Protection Society, Liverpool, England, accompanied by Mrs. Margaret Lacy, and en route to Hotel Dieu, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

On February 9, 1931, at Kitchener Hospital, Patrick George Cassidy, 53, laborer, unmarried, born in Ireland to unknown parents, died of carcinoma of the stomach and cardiac failure. The informant was K. W. Martin, manager of the House of Refuge, who had no relation to the deceased.
