Samuel Jones, aged 14. From parish of Liverpool. Placed with Michael Kurtz, Con. 4, Pilkington. ? A bad boy, and cannot be managed. Was in several places, but did not stay long. The Rev. Father Foster tried to do what he could with him, but all to no purpose. The last place he was at in this tection was W. Slioger's. He ran away from there last winter, and went to Hamilton, where he presented himself at the police station, and told a pitiable tale of his supposed wrongs, which the newspapers took up. He has since been lost sight of."
