Notes In 1887, Catherine Boyle, 10, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 96 children from Catholic Children Protection Society, Liverpool, England, accompanied by Mrs. Margaret Lacy, and en route to Hotel Dieu, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

Catherine Boyle, aged 10. From West Derby Union. Placed with Patrick Sherry, Lot 13 in 5th Con., Arthur Tp., Riverston P.O.? Giving full satisfaction, no fault, in good home and pleased with her situation, fine healthy child, will be sent to school next year."
