Notes In 1887, Elizabeth McGinn, 9, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 129 children from Catholic Children Protection Society, Liverpool, England, accompanied by Mrs. Margaret Lacy, and en route to Hotel Dieu, Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

Elizabeth McGinn, aged 9. From West Derby Union. Placed with John Gammon, Ennismore P.O., Lot 7 in 10th Con., Ennismore Tp. ?Giving full satisfaction, kindly treated, and pleased with her home, not attending school, taught at home."
