NotesIn 1884, Hannah Wood, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 104 children from the Catholic Children's Protective Society, accompanied by Mrs. Lacy and en route to Kingston, Ontario, Canada.

Hannah Wood, aged 15, from Birkenhead Union, placed with Thomas Murphy, Kingston, corner Ontario and Clarence Streets. Kept her seven months after arrival in Canada; disobedient, stubborn, and untruthful; returned her to " Hotel Dieu ;" nothing to say in her favour."
