Notes In 1894, Ellen McDonald, 14, arrived at Quebec, Canada, along with a group of 54 children from England, Scotland and Ireland. The children came through the Liverpool Catholic Protection Society, mostly gathered from West Derby, Middlesborough and Leek Workhouses, accompanied by Miss Yates, and en route to to the distribution home on 11 St. Thomas Street, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Ellen McDonald was listed as going to a J. Dillon in Amherst Park. The name listed as the Canadian contact was a Rev. G. M. Gotts(?) or Godts of St. Ann's Parish Montr?al, Quebec, Canada.
