Notes Joseph came over to Canada on The Bremen setting sail in Liverpool on 18 February 1904 and arriving in Halifax on 27 February 1904. His two sisters sailed with him, Sarah Ann 10, and Emma 4. Sarah was placed with the family of Barthelemy Catudal and Josephine Isola Agnes Boisse in Ely South, Shefford Co., Qu?bec, Canada while Emma and Joseph were placed together with the family of Steven Haslette and Ella Minerva Norris in Ely North, Shefford Co., Qu?bec, Canada. The three were a part of the Liverpool Sheltering Homes and were placed from Knowlton Qu?bec.
