NotesIn Aug 1880, Tereza Barzarkie, 4, along with brother Charles Barzarkie, 2 arrived at Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, in a group of 66 Louisa Birt children en route to Knowlton, Quebec, Canada, aboard the Sardinian. (NB her other sisters, Elizabeth and Mary Catherine arrived in April 1880)

Orphan 1870's-80's. Originally from Italy where her father was a glass maker. Moved to (Liverpool) England, where mother died of tuberculosis. Her father could not look after 4 children and handed them over to Barnardos. Father hoped to return to Italy.

Adopted by the Bramley family - changed her nbame to Ada Bramley. Lived in Sorel, Quebec, Canada.
