notes in the workhouse records show that he was first boarded out on January 25 1887, he ceased to be chargeable to the parish on March 14 1893, was placed in service at a mill and sent to Canada on April 2 1896

Age about 16, comfortable home, farm house-employed about barns, feeding cattle, and light work, health good, attends church regularly-home tuition-character good, terms-board, lodging and clothing and $1.50 per month. Gives satisfaction.
