NotesOn May 26 1891, Elizabeth Prodwick/Proderick, born 1883, admitted to Hornchurch Childrens Home otherwise known as Shoreditch Union Homes, mother Jane in Workhouse, discharged on April 26 1894 to Fever Hospital, Homerton

two possible siblings Arthur born 1881 and Thomas born 1887 were admitted at a later date in 1891.

On July 3 1894, Elizabeth was sent back to the Union Homes and left for the final time on June 12 1895 for Canada

April 16 1896, with Edward Fitchett, farmer, Tweed, Hastings, Ontario

Age 13, comfortable home, works around the house, good health, attends Sunday school and Church, Mrs Fitchett said the girl was not truthful, dirty and slovenly, did not want to go to school, and in fact was almost useless about house. The girl was satisfied with her home and did not wish to be removed, boarded, lodged and clothed.
