Charlie has grown improved and become quite a good worker. Mr Bird says he is a good boy and tries to do what is right. Goes to church and Sunday school. To receive $150 when he is 21 years of age. If he leaves before then a proportionate amount. To attend school this winter again

Charlie was helping his mistress about the house though he usually works in the field. He is a healthy looking boy but does not grow much. Attended school a part of the winter but is still in the second reader. Was troublesome at school and suspended for a time. Promised to do better at school next winter and to try to make progress. Attends church and Sunday school.
Charles' father, Henry Knight, died January 30, 1897, in Surrey England.

Mary Jane Lancaster Knight died on February 9, 1958, in Hastings, Ontario, Canada. Charles and Mary Jane are both buried at Foxboro Cemetery, Hastings, Ontario, Canada.
