NotesCARTER Florence, 1894 RYE Report - Entry No 68 F.A.C., aged 15; parents living but very poor and afflicted. Mr. J.A., Farmer, Arlington P.O., Ontario. Servant, but treated as one of the family.

In 1894, Florence Carter, 15 (along with sister Ellen Carter, 11), arrived at Quebec, Canada, with a group of 45 children en route to Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada.

On September 5, 1900, at Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between Florence Carter, 20, born in England to William and Ellen Carter; and George E. Donkin, 25, cutter, born in Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada, to Robert and Emily Donkin.

In 1901, Florence Donkan, 20, was shown residing at Quartier No 5, Toronto, York, Ontario, Canada, along with her husband, George E. Donkan, tailor. Her date of birth is shown as March 31, 1880, and her immigration year is not shown.
