(Parents: Richard Fennell - a professional cricketer and bat maker at Dark's factory at Lord's - and Catharine Jane Davies. Richard died Marylebone Infirmary of consumption in September, 1876, aged 42, and Catherine died in London in 1879 respectively. Siblings were Catharine Maude, James Henry, Jane, Mary Charlotte and Thomas Alfred.) Richard's brother, Thomas Alfred Fennell, born February 4, 1866, Marylebone, England, was residing at The Children's Home Edgworth, West Bolton, England in the early 1880's. By 1894, he was residing in Neepawa, Manitoba, Canada.
