Parents: George Arthur Anker and Alberta Morris married in Holborn, England, in 1897.

Alberta Anker of 62 Pynter-road Bush Hill Park, Enfield, Middlesex (wife of George Arthur Anker) died April 6, 1923, at St. James Infirmary Balham, Surrey, England. She left her estate consisting of 58 pounds, 14 shillings and 10 pence to her husband George.

In 1928, Sidney Anker, 15, arrived at St. John, New Brunswick, Canada, in a group of boys with the Salvation Army scheme en route to the Salvation Army Receiving Homes. His intended occupation was to be farming; his nearest relative in England was his father, Mr. Anker, 62, Pynter Road, Bush Hill Bank, Enfield, England; and his destination was to be the Salvation Army Receiving Home in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Sidney Anker, 21, and his brother, Kenneth Anker, 17, returned to England on November 28, 1932, on the ship Aurania. He declared that his occupation was that of farming; that his proposed address in the UK was to be Ponders End, London; and that he intended to permanently reside in England.

A marriage was registered between Sidney G. Anker and Winifred E Singleton in 1933 at Edmonton, Middlesex, England.

Sidney Gerald Anker died in 1983 in Enfield, London, England. Winifred Edith Anker died in July, 2000, in Enfield, London, England.
