Notes Sent by Westminster Union
with Miss M Bolger, P.O Bolger, Renfrew, Ontario
June 27 1900
Age 14, good home, employed at work about the house, health-generally good, complains of having sore eyes, attends Roman Catholic Church, does not attend school owing to weak eyes. Character-Miss Bolger was absent from home but her mother stated he was a boy of good character. Terms-Board and Clothing. Mrs Bolger states they are quite satisfied with Steele (he is the eighth British immigrant lad they have had in their employ). She informs me that they are treating him for his eyes. The lad does not appear to be contented here.

Age 16, there is a marked improvement in this boys appearance. He is well looked after and attends the Roman Catholic Church. His
employment is principally house work. He is not altogether satisfied, as he prefers to do out-door work. Miss Bolger is about to leave
the farm, and it will be necessary to find Steele another situation.
