November 16 1899
with Patrick Moloughney, farmer, P.O Manotick, Carleton, Ontario
Age about 15, satisfactory home, employed choring about the farm, health good, attends church occasionally, does not go to school, character good. Terms-none at this date. Clancy has been with Mr Moloughney four or five weeks. So far he is giving satisfaction. This boy was first placed with Daniel McCarthy, farmer, near Richmond. He stated he left because Mr McCarthy whipped him.

About 16 years of age, highly satisfactory home, employed at ordinary farm labour, good health, attends Roman Catholic Church,
no schooling, character-very satisfactory. Terms-Board and Clothing. This boy has a first class home here, and from what his employer states, I should judge, is making very satisfactory progress, and that his opportunities for learning farming are good. It is a suitable place, and he has a considerate employer.
