NotesParents: George William Walton [Worton is what is shown on the birth certificate of Lancelot Walton] and Harriet Larkham.

In 1887, Lancelot Walton, 12, arrived in Canada in a group of 38 Middlemore children accompanied by Mr. John T. Middlemore and en route to the Guthrie Home, London, Ontario, Canada.

The family like him very much; boy content and happy. Hired for a year; board and lodging, with three months schooling, and $9; to learn farming. A capital, good home."

The couple had at least 9 children: Clarence (Kelly) Duncan Walton, born July 18, 1921, Duncan, British Columbia, Canada; Harriet Isabell Walton, born February 20, 1900, Dauphin, Manitoba, Canada; George Walton, born June, 1915, Cobble Hill, British Columbia, Canada; Ronald Walton, born October, 1918, Cobble Hill, British Columbia, Canada; Vera May Walton, born May 5, 1902, Dauphin, Manitoba, Canada; Ivy Irene Day, born December, 1905, Dauphin, Manitoba, Canada; John Fredrick Walton, born February, 1904, Dauphin, MB, Canada; Albert Henry Walton, born December, 1907, Willows, California, USA; and Laura Marion Walton, born June 17, 1911, Cobble Hill, British Columbia, Canada.

Lancelot Frederick Walton died September 17, 1949 in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada [Registration 1949-09-008723]. Marion Turnbull Walton died July 27, 1961 in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada.

There is still a building standing in Cobble Hill, British Columbia, Canada, called the Walton building which was built Lancelot's brother, Thomas Henry Walton, in 1911.
