WILL Probe Deaths Of Young Immigrants
Attorney- General Says Particulars Must Be Known in Every Case
A full investigation is to be made into the death of every young British Immigrant that takes place
in Ontario , Attorney General W.H.Price stated today .
''These young men are brought out to Canada and it is up to us to look after them '' he stated.
If a boy shoots himself or kills himself in anyway we should know all the particulars .
It is alright to say that he committed suicide but what we are going to do is find out why he did so .
''They get homesick and lonesome like anyone else and it is up to us to see that they are well
looked after. If there are suspicious circumstances then we are going to know what they are .
The provincial governments attitude on this matter is demonstrates by the fact that Col.Piche has
ordered that an inquest and a full investigation be held into the death of John Wilson , who was ound
shot in the head on a farm near Ottawa , where he was employed . The coroner disposed of the case
without and inquest , as one of Suicide.
