Their brother, William Kinghorn, 10 years of age, was residing with his grandmother, Ann Mathers, 63, domestic servant, at High Street, Strichen, Aberdeenshire, England. Sisters, Margaret Kinghorn, 7 years of age, and Ann Kinghorn, 2 years of age, were shown as inmates in Leith Poorhouse, 172 Great Junction St, Leith, Midlothian, Scotland. In 1905, Peter Kinghorn, 13 (along with his brother, William Kinghorn, 14) arrived in Quebec, Canada, with a group of 102 children and 3 adults, most of whom were en route to Brockville, Ontario, Canada, accompanied by Mr. Quarrier. (Brother, Allan Kinghorn, 14, arrived on the Hesperian in 1910; sister Maggie Kinghorn, 14, arrived on the Ionian in 1908; and sister, Annie Kinghorn, 10, arrived on the Grampian in 1909.)
