A death registration was found for Mary Thomson Armour, wife of Andrew Armour, coachman: Date: January 1, 1898, at 10:05 PM; Place: 111 Kenderson Street, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland; Parents: James Thomson and Mary Simpson (both deceased); Cause: Carcinoma Uteri (10 months).

In 1901, Andrew Armour, 8, arrived at Portland, Maine, USA, in a group of 50 Macpherson children accompanied by Rev. Wallace and en route to Belleville, Ontario, Canada.

On November 5, 1914, at Kingston, Ontario, Canada, Andrew Armour, 23, enlisted in the Canadian Armed Forces. He declared that he was born in Glasgow, Scotland; that his next of kin was Mrs. John Sergeant, who resided in Youngstown, Alberta, Canada; that his date of birth was June 20, 1891; that he was a fireman; that he was not married; and that he had previously served in the Cobourg Heavy Battery in 1914. He was described as 5 foot 6 inches in height; dark complexion; brown eyes; dark brown hair. He had 2 or 3 pigmented moles on his back. He was a member of the Presbyterian faith.
