In March 1931 edition of Ups and Downs it was mentioned that a letter was received by Barnardo's Ups and Downs Magazine from Dulcie in which she mentioned Jessie Allum now Mrs McAllister

In the June 1931 edition of Ups and Downs, Dulcie advised that she had been visited by a Miss Cummins

According to UK Incoming Passenger records, she returned to England aged 17 in 1933, her address was given as c/o Dr Barnardos Homes,18 Stepney Causeway, London.
