A death registration was found for Mary A Stenhouse: Date: Jan-Feb-Mar 1919; Age: 45; District: Newcastle upon Tyne; County: Northumberland; Volume: 10b; Page: 67

In 1930, Ellen Stenhouse, 14, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 52 Barnardo children en route to Toronto, Ontario, Candaa. She declared that her next of kin was Dr Barnardos Homes, London, destination Mr John Hobday, 538 Jarvis St, Toronto, intended occupation domestic.

The VOL XXXIII, March 5, 1931, Ups and Downs reported that Ellen Stenhouse was residing near Niagara Falls.
