Notes In 1891, Ellen Cassidy, 28, and children William, 5, Raymond, 2, and boarder Annie Doughty, 23, and her young daughter Annie, 2, in Portsea, Hampshire
Sent by Portsmouth Union
August 4 1902, with Fenwick Teakles, South Branch, Kings, NB
Age 14, comfortable home, employed at farm work, good health, attends Baptist Church, good disposition,
Terms-Board and Clothing at present. Cassidy does not care for farm work and complains that his employer is rather exacting. He was, in fact, overflowing with complaints. However, as a result of careful enquiry, I am of the opinion that he has a suitable place and it would better to leave him here for a time, at all events.
