Age 13, this youth is still in his original situation. He is not receiving wages although, in my opinion, quite capable, being an able bodied youth. I advised his employer that he would have to pay the boy for his services, but Christopher is a man of very moderate means, and I do not think there is much prospect of Knight receiving adequate wages here. Mr Christopher finds him a steady youth, and says he has done very well since coming here.
