NotesOn December 23, 1876, at 4 Unett Street, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, a birth was registered for Walter Clayton, to parents George Clayton, gold chain maker, and Harriet Stanley.

Youngest child of George Clayton and Harriet Jane Stanley, married October 21, 1872, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England. After separation of parents, he and 2 other brothers were placed with Middlemore. In Canada he became a member of the Northwest Mounted Police.

On September 22, 1939, at Haines, Alaska, USA, Walter George Clayton, 67, widower, laborer, died of acute cardiac failure due to organic heart disease. He was buried at Jones Point, Haines, Alaska, USA.
