In 1929, Frederick Tandy, 16, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 15 young men from the Salvation Army, 3 Upper Thames Street, London, England EC4 en route to Salvation Army, 480, Jarvis Street, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He stated on landing that he had been a errand-lad in England and would be pursuing farming; and that his contact in England was mother, Mrs. E. Tandy, who resided at 4 Rose Cottage, Copeland, Derby, England.

Frederick Tandy died on August 26, 1978, at London, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 65.
