Notes Sent to Canada by Croydon Union, address given as Timoth Linnon, farmer, Twin Elm, Carleton, Ontario, inspection undertaken on 14 July 1898
Age 12, employed at farm work, cooking, choring, health-good, church and school attendance, Roman Catholic, attends church regularly, does not attend school, was in fourth book at home, character-good - has no bad habits, terms-board and clothing until 16 years old. No complaints on either side, boy is steady, inclined to be a little sulky, but I think this may arise from rather too hard work as he is very small
