NotesA birth registration was found for Dinah Abrahams: Year of Registration: 1890; Quarter of Registration: Jul-Aug-Sep; District: Hull; County: Yorkshire - East Riding, Humberside; Volume: 9d; Page: 250. Parents: Simon Abrahams and Rose Holmes (no marriage found).

In 1897, Dinah Abraham, 7 (along with Millie Abraham, 11), arrived with 16 children from the Church of England Waifs and Strays Society accompanied by Mrs Francis and en route to Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, and Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada.

Sometime prior to 1911, Dinah Abraham returned to the United Kingdom to reside with her mother, Rose South. Though it appears from the change in surname that Rose Abrahams had remarried, no marriage record can be found.

On September 14, 1916, at Sculcoates, Yorkshire, England, a marriage was registered between Thomas A. Dobson and Dinah South (this was her mother's second husband's surname). Thomas was born October 13, 1889, in Sculcoates, Yorkshire, England, to James Dobson and Jane Elizabeth Anyan.

Thomas Anyan and Dinah Abraham Dobson had at least 3 children, all born in Hull, Yorkshire, England: Hazel Anyan Dobson, born April 28,1918; Victor Dobson, born April 15, 1927; and a daughter (still living).

Dinah Abraham Dobson died February 26, 1954, in Hull, Yorkshire, England. Thomas Anyan Dobson died January 13, 1971.
