In 1913, Kathleen Alexander, 9 (along with brothers, Leslie Alexander, 11, and Edward Alexander, 12) arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 87 MacPherson children accompanied by Mrs. Merry and en route to Stratford or Hespeler, Ontario, Canada. Brother, Jack Alexander, arrived in Canada in 1921 at the age of 13 with Macphersons Home.
