NotesIn 1895, Alfred Anderson, 10, arrived at Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, in a group of 133 Barnardo boys accompanied by Mr. A. B. Owen and en route to Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

It was reported in the August 1903 edition of Ups & Downs that a silver medal for good conduct and length of service be recommended to be awarded to Alfred Anderson.

In the same edition it was noted that a donation was made to the home by Alfred Anderson.
