In 1907, Reginald G. Angell, 15, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 253 Barnardo children en route to Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Reginald's World War I attestation papers state that he was born February 10, 1892, in London, England. He was married, wife was Myrtle Mary Angell and they lived in Hensell, Ontario. Reginald worked as a painter and a decorator. He's described as 5 ft 4 inches, blue eyes and light brown hair. He enlisted on December 15, 1915.

On March 8, 1916, at Hensall, Huron, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between George Reginald Angell, 24, soldier; born in London, England, to George Angell (mother unknown); and Myrtle Mary Taylor, 18, born in Hay, Ontario, Canada, to Duncan Taylor and Amelia McLaren.

Reginald George Angell was killed in action in Valenciennes, France on October 21, 1918. He is buried at Denain Communal Cemetery.

Myrtle Mary Taylor Angell remarried Rex Burvie Dick and died in 1985 in Hensall, Hay, Huron, Ontario, Canada.
