PERCY ROBERT ADAMS

On January 28th 1963 at Princess Elizabeth Hospital, Percy Robert Adams, aged 78 years, beloved husband of Annie Adams, of 1131 Parker Avenue. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday from the Clark Leatherdale Funeral Home, 232 Kennedy Street, with Rev. Dr. W. E. Donnelly officiating. Interment in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Born in Hastings, England, Mr. Adams came to Canada sixty years ago. He farmed in the Basswood and Rapid City districts for many years, retiring in 1946, and moved to Winipeg in 1949. Surviving besides his wife, Annie is one son, Herbert J. Walton, two nieces, Mrs. Nora Adams of British Columbia and Mrs. Blanche McGrogan of Toronto, Ontario, And two grandchildren.

Annie Hadfield Walton died at the age of 101 years at Heritage Lodge, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada on May 12, 2004.
