On July 1 1940, Glencoe P Allen, 40, crossed into the USA via Buffalo, NY with her daughter Beverly D aged 4, she declared that she was born in Toronto, that her last residence was Wilton Grove, Ontario, she was going to join a friend-Ellayne McAlpine, 2025 Delaware Road,

She made a 2nd visit to the USA on 2 January 1942, again accompanied by her daughter Beverly aged 6, this time her nearest relative in Canada was her husband Harold of Wilton Grove, Ontario. She was going to General Delivery, Miami, Florida.
