A death registration was found for her mother, Margaret Albon: Estimated Birth Year: abt 1850; Year of Registration: 1892; Quarter of Registration: Apr-May-Jun; Age at Death: 42; District: Brentford; County: Middlesex; Volume: 3a; Page: 41.

A death registration was found for her father, Amos Albon; Estimated Birth Year: abt 1853; Year of Registration: 1893; Quarter of Registration: Jan-Feb-Mar; Age at Death: 40; District: Lambeth; County: Greater London, London, Surrey; Volume: 1d; Page: 236.

In 1905, Mildred M. Albon, 14, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 104 Barnardo girls with their matron, Mrs. Lloyd, en route to Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.

Mildred remained in continuous contact with her brother, Amos Albon, who remained in the United Kingdom, despite the physical distance that divided them.

On December 20, 1913, Mildred Albon, 22, domestic, arrived at Glasgow, Scotland, on the ship, Hesperian. She returned on March 21, 1914, on the ship Alsation, arriving at Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

On June 7, 1916, at the Methodist Parsonage, Strathory, Middlesex, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between Mildred Margaret Albon, 20, servant, born in London, England, to unknown parents; and Malcolm McNeil, 35, farmer, born in Township of Brooke, Canning, Middlesex, Ontario, Canada, to Alexander and Christina McNeil.

Malcolm E. and Mildred Margaret Albon McNeil had at least one child: Doris McNeil (died November 2003).

From the Age Dispatch, Strathroy February 20, 1941:

" MRS M McNEIL .. Following a lengthy illness, Mrs Mildred Albon McNeil died Sunday in Strathroy General Hospital in her 51st year. Mrs McNeil was born in Sussex, England, coming to Canada at the age of 14 and had resided in Adelaide, Metcalfe and Caradoc Townships. She was a member of the United Church. She is survived by her husband, Malcolm McNeil, one daughter, Miss Doris McNeil, of Adelaide Township, and a brother in England. The funeral took place from the home of Arthur Morgan, highway 22, near Kerwood, on Wednesday afternoon, with Rev. Mr Fydell, of Kerwood, officiating. Interment was in Strathroy Cemetery." Malcolm E. McNeil died December 27, 1941. Both are both buried at Strathroy Municipal Cemetery, (Section A), in Caradoc, Middlesex, Ontario, Canada. The stone simply reads 'McNeil .. Malcolm E McNeil 1869 - 1944 his wife Mildred M Albon 1891 - 1941'.
