He had 3 vaccination marks on his upper right arm; 1 scar on his left sole; 1 scar on the back of his head; 1 small mole under his right arm pit; and scattered acne scars on the front of his chest.
On June 19, 1920, Samuel Allender, 29, arrived at Quebec, Canada, on the ship Sicilian, calling from Glasgow, Scotland. He declared that he was a returning Canadian, born in England, who resided at Cobourg Village, Ontario, Canada.
On November 29, 1924, at Cobourg, Northumberland, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between Samuel Allender, 32, dyeworker, born in England to Henry James Allender and Agnes Younger; and Florence Evelyn Edgell, 24, mat maker, born in England to Henry Frederick Edgell and Annie Brown.
