NotesDaniel Allen was admitted to St Josephs Orphanage by the Lambeth Union, on 21 July 1908, then discharged on 28 July 1913 to be 'emigrated to Canada.'

In 1913, Daniel Allen, 15, arrived at Quebec, Canada, in a group of 36 Roman Catholic children through the Catholic Emigration Association and en route to Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
