Isaac Cocksedge died at the age of 65 in 1910 at Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, England.

In 1911, Frederick Alderton, 8 (along with brothers, Walter Isaac Alderton, 7, and William Alderton, 10), arrived at Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, in a group of 205 Barnardo boys en route to Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

On May 15, 1923, at Niagra Falls, Ontario, Canada, Frederick Alderton was a witness to the marriage of his brother, William Alderton, to Lizzie Emily Bollen.

On March 28, 1924, Frederick Alderton, 23, ship's steward, returned to England on the ship Melita. He declared that his proposed address in the United Kingdom was 59 Woodlands Park Road, London, N.; and that his intended future residence would be England.
