Mrs Wright says Ernest is a good boy though slow and rather dull but improving in this respect. Is kind to the children, truthful and obedient. Mrs Wright treats him as one of her own children. Going to school next week and church regularly.

I met Ernest and his master driving along the road. Mr Wright says he is well pleased with Ernest, he is a good smart little lad, he is also well spoken of by the neighbours who say he is the best little boy from the home they know. He is a nice looking boy stout and healthy, says he likes this country and has a good home, attends church and Sunday school also day school, is in the 2nd reader
