NotesMy wife's G. mother, Fanny Thomson, departed Nov. 3, 1912 on the Lake Manitoba from Liverpool and arrived Quebec, Nov. 16, 1912. Her destination was listed Hamiota, Manitoba. No further info has been located. She is listed in Canadian records as BHC despite age of 18 on arrival.

She returned to Scotland about 1916? and emigrated again to Canada in 1927, married with children.

She had 9 siblings,at least 2 of which emigrated possibly earlier than she and neither was a BHC as far as known. Her parents were still living at her departure. Her father died in 1917 and her mother in 1931.

We assume her reason for initial emigration was financial and probably voluntary.

It would be gratifying to know of the sending agency and family she was was employed by in Canada.

She was very secretive about this period in he life.
