Notes1891 Census Cardiff Wales has parents James and Jane Pike. James was a bricklayer. They have two sons Albert born 1887 and Frederick born 1889. By 1901 the family is in East Ham, Essex, England and there are now 5 more children. Jane Potter Pike died in 1903. Albert and Frederick came together with the Barnardos in 1904. Fred Pike was eventually placed in Lambton County. He married another BHC Bertha Hilda Winter . They married at the home of Mrs. Alfred G. Sparling, in Plympton Township near Forest. Fred and Bertha had eight children. Eventually the family moved to London Ontario.
