She was 90. Mrs.Roddick was born at Glasgow,Scotland,March.4 1876.A daughter of the late Peter Rodgers and Janet Galbraith,coming to Canada at the age of 13. On August.21, NULL,1896 she married George.P.Roddick at Lyndhurst.He predeceased her July.12,1940.Active for her years,she maintained her own home in Athens during the summer months,living with a daughter,Mrs.Harry Bigalow,in Brockville for the winters.Her main hobby was quilt making and many fine examples of her handiwork are gracing numerous homes in the area.She attended Athens United church. She is survived by three sons and three daughters,Charles Roddick of Brockville,Kenneth Roddick of Oshawa and James Roddick of Vancouver,BC. Mrs.h.b.Code ( Mary) of Smiths Falls,Mrs.Harry Bigalow ( Georgina),Ormond street,Brockville and Mrs.Sidney White ( Buelah) of Brockville. She was predeceased by a son Harry and a daughter Grace several years ago. She also leaves several grandchildren,great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. The remains will rest at the Judson Funeral Home,Elgin street,Athens until Tuesday June.14. where funeral services will be held at 2 pm. Interment will follow in Athens cemetery.
