On June 14, 1915, in Ontario, Canada, Frederick John Gurt, 20, enlisted in the Canadian Armed Forces (Service Number: 91759; Force: Army; Unit: Canadian Garrison Artillery; Division: 165th Siege Bty.) He declared that he was born in London, England; that his next of kin was Mrs. Gurt, who resided at 110 Union Street, Boro London, S.E.
