Isaac Cocksedge died at the age of 65 in 1910 at Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, England.

In 1911, Walter Isaac Alderton, 7 (along with brothers, Frederick Alderton, 8, and William Alderton, 10), arrived at Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, in a group of 205 Barnardo boys en route to Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

In August, 1922, Walter Alderton, 17, farm laborer, entered the United States through the port of Buffalo, New York. He declared that he resided in Pelham, Ontario, Canada; that his contact was his brother, William Alderton, who resided at St. Johns, Canada; that his final destination was Chaffee, New York, to visit a friend, Dell Ecker, who resided at Sardinia, New York; that he carried $14 on his person; that he intended to remain 3 days. He was described as 5 foot 5 inches in height; ruddy complexion; (?) brown eyes; black hair; he had the first joint of his third finger missing. He had been born in Suffolk, England.

On January 24, 1923, Walter Alderton, 18, returned home to Canada. He declared that his last permanent address was Chaffee, New York, US; that he was single; that his object in entering Canada was to return home; that he was a member of the Presbyterian faith; that he had previously lived in Pelham Township, Welland, Ontario, Canada; that he had immigrated to Halifax in April 1910; that he had left Canada in 1921/22 to get work; that his final destination was to George Henderson in North Pelham, Welland County, Ontario, Canada.

[EDITORS NOTE: A Rose E. Alderton, born March 24, 1912, died on February 15, 1997, also in Clinton, Vermillion, Indiana. This may have been Walter's wife.]

Walter I. Alderton died at the age of 95 on January 23, 1999, in Clinton, Vermillion, Indiana, United States.
