He declared that his present occupation was school; that his intended occupation was to do farm work; that he was born in Buckinghamshire, England; that his passage was paid by Dr. Barnardo's Homes; that he was destined to his friend, Mr. J. W. Hobday, 50-52 Peter Street, Toronto, Ontario, Canada; that his nearest relation was his father, Mr. Hance, who resided at 2, Loudham Cottages, Amersham Common, Buckinghamshire, England.

Frederick was placed with Earl W. Reeds, Omemco, R.3, Opa, Victoria, Ontario, Canada.

A juvenile inspector reported [T-15422]:

HANCE, Frederick, 12, . . . 1921 Barnardo's, To Mt. Forest, Lindsay, Reaboro, Omemee "gone north to lumber camp."

On December 22, 1928, Frederick Hance, 20, labourer, returned to the United Kingdom on the ship Melita. He states his residence in the UK was Loudham Cottages, Amersham, Courham, Buckinghamshire, England, and that he intended to reside in Canada.

On March 18, 1929, Frederick Hance, 20, born in Amersham, England, returned to Canada on the ship Montrose. He declared that he had resided in Canada between 1921-1928; that he resided in Omemee, Ontario; and that his destination was his employer, Mr. John Thorn, RR5, Omemee, Ontario, Canada.

On December 1, 1930, Fred Hance, 21, labourer, returned to England on the ship Antonia. He stated his address in the UK was 2, Loudhans Cottages, Amersham, Buckinghamshire, England, and that he intended to reside in England.

Frederick Hance married Mildred E. Cox in 1936 at Amersham, Buckinghamshire, England.
