Notes On October 3 1920, Peter Miller Walker Allan, 14, arrived at Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada, in a group of 60 Quarrier boys en route to Fairknowe Home, Brockville, Ontario, Canada. Upon arrival, he declared his aim in coming to Canada was to settle and do farm work. He gave the Orphan Homes of Scotland as his next of kin and his birthplace as Bathgate, Scotland.
On October 2, 1937, at Lachine, Quebec, Canada, a marriage was registered between Peter Miller Walker Allan, 33, bookkeeper, born in Livingston, Scotland, to James Allan and Margaret Walker; and Jessie Agnes Beveridge, 21, born in Lachine, Quebec, Canada, to William David Beveridge and Jessie Neir.
