In 1894, Alexander Auckland, 16, arrived at Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, in a group of 34 children from the National Childrens Home accompanied by Rev. Dr. Stephenson and en route to Hamilton, Ontario.

He was described as 5 foot 7-1/2 inches; fair complexion; brown eyes; dark hair. He was a member of the Methodist faith.

Between 1935 - 1962, Alex Auckland was a farmer in Gledhow, Saskatchewan, Canada. Also resident was his wife and Isabel Auckland, a domestic.
