A death registration was found for Mary Ann Wallace: Date: Apr-May-Jun 1885; Age: 40; District: Bradfield; County: Berkshire; Volume: 2c; Page: 214.

In 1887, Amelia Wallace, 5 (along with sisters, Isabella Wallace, 7, and Edith Wallace, 11), arrived in Canada in a group of 28 Middlemore children accompanied by Mr. John T. Middlemore and en route to the Guthrie Home, London, Ontario, Canada.

Amelia Wallace, aged 6. From Bradfield Union. Placed with Richard White, Lot. 11, Con. 4, Tp. Lone, Bothwell P.O., Ontario.? This child has lately had an attack of diphtheria, but it was quite over when I visited. She was taken as one of the family; well clothed; will be schooled in summer; well liked by Mrs. White; a good home."

On January 4, 1905, at Kent, Ontario, Canada, a marriage was registered between Amelia Wallace, 22, (Guardians) Richard and Jane White; and James Outhouse, 33, mechanic, born to James Outhouse and Nancy McNickle.

James and Amelia Wallace Outhouse had at least 3 children: Jennie Amelia Outhouse, born october 16, 1905, in Kent, Ontario, Canada; and Rosabell Outhouse, born March 13, 1909, in Kent, Ontario, Canada; and Violet M. Outhouse, born 1928 in Ontario, Canada (died 1956).

Amelia Wallace Outhouse, housewife, of Bothwell, Zone, Ontario, Canada, died on July 27, 1928, at the age of 39. The cause of death was a ruptured appendix at St. Josephs Hospital, London, Middlesex, Ontario, Canada. The informant was her husband, James Outhouse, who declared that her parents were John Wallace and Mary Anne Jerome. Amelia was buried in Bothwell, Zone, Ontario, Canada. James Outhouse died in 1959 at the age of 89.
