In 1913 Florence Phillips, 11 (along with her brothers, Frank Phillips, 9; Henry Phillips, 14; and James Phillips, 9), arrived at Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, with a group of 110 children. [EDITORS NOTE: It is thought that their father was deceased and they were in a Union House with their mother when they were sent out.]
